Color Woodcut Print Gallery

Three cowgirls, with halos, eating frito pie, against a brilliant blue sky.

Sisters of St. Frito Pie #2, dazzles with brilliant color and plays on Medieval iconography to portray the nearly religious experience of hot frito pie on a chilly night at the local stock show and rodeo. 


To create this handmade collagraph, textured fabric and papers were fixed to a hand-cut wood block, then painted with watercolor, and hand-pressed.
